Ruby May speaks of love and longing in her new single, Follow.
Follow is a fresh note in Ruby May’s evolving sound as she blends her folk-roots into a more electronic expression. Her raw, transparent lyrics go hand in hand with the soft, dream-like tones of her voice.

After spending the last years writing and further developing her sound, Ruby May has come through with 'Follow,' a track that blends her folky voice with the electronic sounds that she loves. Ruby has teamed up with producer Antonia Gauci (Vallis Alps, Gauci, DMA’s, Lanks) for this track and is working with her on the second single which will be released early 2020.

Ruby May began her journey as a music artist in 2014 with her debut EP 'Wanderer’ and a launch show that sold out The Spectrum, Darlinghurst.

The years following this, Ruby had to undergo two major jaw surgeries, which meant she had to take a step back from singing. In this time away from releasing music, she found herself diving deeper into discovering herself as an artist, and from this she brought a whole new perspective to her writing.

In 2017, she came back with her single 'Chasing The Sun,’ a song about racing the fleeting daylight to catch the one you love before the day is over. After the release of Chasing The Sun, Ruby May played in venues around Sydney, including The Gallery at OAF and Brighton Up Bar.

Her penchant for beautiful melodies with an equally beautiful voice to match makes for gorgeous tunes.
